Adalid Sciences is seeking a motivated Technician / Junior Scientist to join our Biology Unit and contribute to experimental research focused on the development and biological validation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for therapeutic purposes.
We are looking for a reliable, precise, and enthusiastic candidate who enjoys hands-on experimental work, is open to learning new techniques, and is motivated to contribute to applied biomedical research at the interface of drug delivery, immunology, and therapeutic innovation.
The successful candidate will contribute to experimental work focused on LNP for therapeutic purposes including LNP characterization, in vitro biological testing, immune response analysis, and preclinical validation. This position is suitable for a candidate with a strong background in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field, and for those with enthusiasm for translational biomedical research.
Main responsibilities
- characterization and biological validation of LNP formulations
- in vitro cell culture and cell-based assays
- high-throughput screening assays
- flow cytometry-based analyses
- determination of innate and adaptive immune responsessupport of preclinical validation (in vivo experiments) and sample processing data analysis, documentation, and preparation of experimental reportsclose collaboration with scientists across biology, formulation, analytics, and organicsynthesis
Requirements
- Bc./MSc. degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, or a related fieldhands-on laboratory
- experience in cell culture and basic cell-based assays
- basic knowledge of immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, flow cytometry
- careful and reliable approach to experimental work
- ability to follow established protocols and accurately document experimental procedures and results
- willingness to learn new methods and work in a multidisciplinary research environment
- good organizational skills and attention to detailability to work both independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills in English
- experience with mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, immune cell assays or cytokine signature analysis, LNP-associated cell-based assays, drug delivery systems, and/or nucleic acid therapeutics
- hand-on experience with in vivo experiments will be considered a significant advantage.
